I've Just Watched The Top Gear Patagonia Special Online...

...and it was BRILLIANT!

The quality of film is absolutely stunning. I know Top Gear is known for their excellent film quality, but they really outdid themselves on this one. By episode's end I was determined that I would visit the Patagonia region sometime in my life. It's absolutely beautiful down there.

Also, IT'S FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!! I was laughing the entire time! I will not give away any spoilers for the sake of people that may have not yet viewed the episode, but all I have to say is that it is the finniest episode Top Gear's produced in a while. Absolutely hilarious!!

Oh yeah, the cars are also pretty awesome. I am in love with Jeremy's 928. I've always been a fan of the 928, but since watching the episode I've been looking non-stop for one online. Even though I may be alone with this opinion, James's Esprit is strikingly beautiful. That car with its beautiful twin-turbo V8 making it all the way across Chili and Argentina is incredible. Hammond's Mustang preformed as expected—-okay, but not great. With me being an American, If I said I didn't care for it I'd be charged with treason. So, accordingly, I like it.

Finally, I am still baffled by the uprising that occurred in Argentina. Reading about the events that carried out had no impact compared to actually viewing it first hand. These "rioters" were completely mad! Worst yet is that the so called police did absolutely nothing to prevent it. They basically just said sorry, you're on your own. This may be due to the size of the police force compared to the size of the rioters, but still. I guess I'm just used to the riot gear wearing, automatic weapon armed police we have here in the great US of A.

Anyhow, if this episode says anything about how the rest of the season will play out, I cannot wait. Just by the first episodes/special, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Yeah, there's this website called StreetFire.net that you can go on and see just about any Top Gear episode ever. There are a couple people that upload regularly and post within a couple days of it airing in the UK. It's a pretty solid source.

Also, there's this new guy on YouTube that's been uploading a lot here recently, including the Patagonia Special and Season 21.
